Nick & Erica's Wedding at Redding Roadhouse in Redding, CT

Nick & Erica have one of the most romantic love stories I have ever heard. They met at a holiday party and when Erica laid eyes on Nick she knew he was the one for her. She admits it sounds cliché but she saw something in his eyes that made her know he was the one.

On one of their first dates, Nick prepared a delicious meal for Erica. Up until that moment Erica had never had a man cook for her and she was absolutely delighted.

Nick proposed on Valentine’s Day but it was not your typical proposal. It was a Thursday evening and they had decided to save the celebration for the weekend with the exception of exchanging their gifts. It was a casual evening at home and they were sitting down to eat in their comfy pajamas.

Nick presented a box to Erica and she knew right away what it was due to the shape and size. It was sneakers!  What any marathoner would want, right! She was thrilled!  Before ripping open the box she read the card, which was the most important part of the gift. She will never forget what it said,  "Will you run the marathon of life with me?"

Erica was confused as a sneaker box accompanied this card but she went ahead and opened the box as Nick had instructed her to do. Her beautiful diamond ring was tied to the shoelace of one of the sneakers and she quickly said yes! What an unforgettable night, only to be rivaled by their wedding night.

Their intimate ceremony took place at the Redding Roadhouse in Redding CT. They joined hands in front of a roaring fireplace as Christmas lights and candles dancing around them.

Erica and Nick wrote their own heartfelt vows, which were greeted with tears, smiles and finally sealed with a kiss. The celebration continued into the night with dining, dancing and a good time had by all.
