Trekking around Maui was an incredible experience. It was amazing to be surrounded by
such beauty from every direction. I could photograph surfers all day and nothing beats
watching the sunrise & set over the ocean. It truly is a magical place.

Surfs Up!
I patiently waited for the surfer to hit the wave right near the setting sun and miraculously it occured.
I then waited for a dolphin to leap through the shot but that never happened... Next time.

Sliding Sands Trail


Clouds filled the scene as we embarked on the trail. As we continued down into the crater the clouds lifted ever so slowly showing us piece by piece the valley floor. The colorful sands of erosion shimmered in the sunlight.







I felt like we were on a different planet as we trekked around the crater floor.


There is something so breath taking about the first glimpses of sunlight in the morning.


The beauty of the ocean is always changing.




I loved this lonely tree on the horizon.






It was almost hypnotic watching the waves curl and break against the rocks.


This surfer was doing the craziest moves with his boogie board.
