Chris and Elizabeth’s love story began at a training camp in Lake Placid. Elizabeth was the guest speaker and was coaching and Chris was a camper. There was probably a rule against the coach/camper relationships but like many rules, they were made to be broken.
Their first date was on a 105 mile bike ride through the Adirondack Mountains ending with cheeseburgers and footlong hotdogs. It was love at first ride.
When asked how Elizabeth knew Chris was the one for her, she said, "I just couldn't get enough of him." They had the same sense of humor and would laugh so hard that it would make their bellies hurt. Chris knew Elizabeth was the one for him because she was his best friend, and they were just so comfortable with each other, "It just felt right".
Their perfect blend of friendship and love for each other led them to St. Athansaio Greek Orthodox Church, in Paramus, NJ on February 11th. The energy of Chris and Elizabeth's family and friends heightened as they waited in anticipation for Elizabeth's arrival. Elizabeth's favorite moment was when the church doors opened and Chris was waiting for her at the end of the aisle. Everything was just perfect.
The celebration continued at Seasons with great food, lots of laughter, and non stop dancing. This is just the beginning for Chris and Elizabeth's journey together on life's great adventure.
